Bello Visto is a beautifully appointed village house located in the old wine village of Cairanne in the southern Cotes du Rhone region of Provence.

The house provides a high level of accommodation with quality locally sourced furniture and antiques. Situated on 2600 square metres of land, it has remarkable views of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the surrounding villages and vineyards and makes the perfect base for a Provencal holiday in this wonderful and unique region..

The property sleeps up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in total. The property consists of the main house with 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In addition there is a separate self-contained apartment next to the main house with its own living/dining room, bathroom, kitchenette and bedroom sleeping a further 2 people.

The main house sleeps 6 people. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have queen size beds and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds.

The main living room and separate dining room are beautifully furnished with open fireplaces and quality inclusions and the modern kitchen with pantry is well appointed with high quality dishes and kitchenware.

There is a separate library/media room with a collection of books and cable television with a selection of English channels as well as a study/office.

The luxurious pool and terrace areas are perfect for outdoor entertaining and dining and enjoying panoramic views of Mt Ventoux and the neighbouring villages of Gigondas and Seguret.

This is without doubt an idyllic setting and makes a superb base to explore the world renowned wine villages located close to the house as well as the many picturesque and historical sites scattered throughout Provence.

Location

Bello Visto is located in the historical village of Cairanne (population 900) in the Vaucluse department in Provence. There is a Butcher shop, Boulangerie, restaurants, wine shops and grocery store all within a short walk from the house.

The village dates as far back as the 8th century with 12th century ramparts and is situated mid way between Orange and the roman town of Vaison-la-Romaine It is within close proximity to some of the most highly regarded wine villages shown below which are all just a short drive from the house.

The large historical towns of Orange and Carpentras are close by as well as the magnificent papal city of Avignon which is located just over 30 minutes to the south of the house.

Bello Visto is located 1 hour 15 minutes from Marseille Provence International Airport and 35 minutes from Avignon TGV station that has daily trains to Paris Gare de Lyon.
