This beautiful apartment dates from the 1600's and has wonderful tall ceilings with massive wooden beams and original hexagonal "tomette" floor tiles. The structural limestone walls in the kitchen have been exposed adding to the charm of this typically Parisian apartment.

The apartment is beautifully decorated with French antiques and furnishings whilst enjoying all modern conveniences such as cable television and high speed internet.

Located on 2nd floor (no elevator) of a very historical building, the property is surrounded by many antique shops and galleries in the middle of the hugely popular St Germain area of Paris. At the end of Rue Mazarine is a fine view of the dome of the College de France and in the opposite direction is the lively village atmosphere of the Rue du Buci with its fine shops and markets.

The apartment sleeps 2 people in the queen size (or twin beds) master bedroom and is a comfortable 40 square metres in size.

The apartment has been restored to a high standard with a quality kitchen and modern bathroom with a nice selection of antique furnishings and bedroom linens.

The apartment is located on the exclusive street Rue Mazarine and surrounded by many art galleries and antique shops and just a 5 minute walk past the College de France to the river Seine in the 6th Arrondissement. Boulevard St Germain is located a couple of minutes walk in the opposite direction.

The lively and popular area around Rue de Buci is where you can experience a traditional Parisian village atmosphere with the daily market, speciality shops, cafés, bistros, restaurants and boutiques right on your doorstep.

Walk along Rue de Buci and continue along Rue St-André des Arts and you will arrive at Place St-Michel, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the excitement of the Latin Quarter.

Rue Mazarine has a fine selection of art galleries and antique shops starting from the corner of Rue du Buci all the way down to the College de France close to the river.
