Le Moulin du Pont is a beautiful home offering an extensive river frontage and mature, landscaped gardens on 2 acres of land on the banks of the Orne River.

There are 3 large double en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with views of the gardens and the river.

The large open plan living area complete with marble floors enjoys superb views up and down the river and the wooded valley. The house is beautifully furnished, with an array of lovely artworks and antiques. The traditional and spacious French kitchen has all modern conveniences and there is a separate tastefully furnished dining area with seating for 8.

The Library and sitting area has lots of comfortable seating around a large open log fire.

Le Moulin du Pont is well situated to the charms of the Normandy coast and the historical sites scattered throughout the countryside.

Location

Le Moulin du Pont has a 300 metre frontage on the banks of the River Orne on the edge of the hamlet of Culey le Patry in the Calvados department of Normandy.

The nearby villages of Saint Remy (population 1100) and Thury-Harcourt (population 1900) have a number of shops, restaurants and other amenities, including banks and supermarkets.

The charming historical city of Caen (40 Minutes) and Bayeux, with its tapestry depicting the Battle of Hastings (50 minutes) are an easy drive through the beautiful Normandy countryside. The D-Day beaches of WW2: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword, are also 50 minutes and the British, German and United States World War 2 War Cemeteries are a must visit if you have an interest in history.

The sophisticated delightful seaside towns of Deauville and Honfleur are just over one hour away making this a wonderful base for your stay in Normandy.
